Whistler Cabin
Whistler Cabin
The contemporary makeover of this 1970’s-era cabin in Creekside, Whistler combines modern comfort with mountain lodge cozy charm. A major design challenge for the 2,000-square-foot structure was to keep the space open and airy while provided adequate sleeping room for an eight-member family.
Church Conversion
Church Conversion
We faced many challenges transformimg this 1920s era church into a 1500 square-foot multi-use loft. Our main goal was to keep the Fraser Street decommissioned house of worship as intact as possible. We were able to substantially preserve the original integrity of the architecture while a new roof, stucco and insulation brought the building up to code. To maintain the humble aesthetic, we stuck with classic materials, including steel, wood and stone. Meanwhile, four skylights were installed to brighten the interior and open the space up to cool breezes in the summer.
